Deep Cleaning of Wooden Floors
Taking clean to a new level

What is deep cleaning?
We apply a professional scrubber machine with an environment friendly, effective cleaning solution to deep clean the floors. The aim of the process is to remove the toughest dirt and grime from the floor - even from gaps and pores-, before applying some kind of finish. The machine with its two counter-rotating brushes ensure maximum cleaning effect, the process is safe for every kind of wood, due to its two squeegees that pick up 100 % of dirty water to avoid soaking. This gentle, yet powerful technique prepares your floor to either oil or varnish so that it may look as new again.
Why chose deep cleaning?
Firstly, even with medium or light traffic, and despite the frequent, thorough cleaning, wood accumulates dirt. You do not always see it, but you can make sure it is always there. Regular cleaning methods (eg. mopping, vacuuming) are only a temporary fix and do not extract any deep, ground-in dirt, typically it only moves the dirt around. Professional deep cleaning is necessary to prevent dirt and grime from wearing down the surface. Also, applying any finish on a deeply contaminated floor, seals but does not make the dirt disappear, it is just not a sensible idea. Secondly, with our method sanding can be postponed. This does not only mean that you can avoid another dusty, noisy, time consuming process, but also that you may protect your priceless investment and prolong its lifetime.

What about brushed, structured floors?
Nowadays, hand-scraped, rustic floors are gaining more and more popularity. Each plank of wood is made by hand having individual patterns, grains, colourations, hence its unique surface. It would be a true loss loosing these from millimetre to millimetre to the sanding machine. With deep cleaning we preserve the beauty of your unmatched wooden floor. Other than aesthetics, there is a technical side to it as well. To save wood, and lower the prices some floor manufacturers apply a thinner layer of pure wood - wearing surface- and a base made of plywood. This means there is a limited layer of wood to be sanded, if this wearing surface runs out, the lifetime of your floor is over.
Can the machine be applied outdoors?
Besides being effective and safe on wooden floors, the scrubber machine can be utilised on several other surfaces. So moving from inside to outside, faded and worn outdoor terraces, decks and pontoons must be mentioned as potential “victims” to our cleaning mission. These surfaces are exposed to entirely different impacts, weather conditions getting an increased emphasis in forming the state of the wood. In the summer UV radiation, scorching heat, occasional heavy/acidic rain, then during the colder months frost, snow and rain can damage the wood. Not to mention algae, moss and mold growing in shady, wet parts, which can be easily removed by our method. These impacts combined with dirt accumulating in the pores eventually turn the wood to grey, worn colour. Periodic deep cleaning and oiling can significantly prolong the lifespan of wood, making it more resistant to external influences and giving back its natural colour and beauty so that you may enjoy it looking brand new.
